Most ads for Meta and Google Display are plain promotions using literal images. Instead we decided to opt for a classic metaphorical approach.

At the time Swipe.bg was an emerging company selling mainly refurbished smartphones. In order to cement the link between product and brand every ad of this series that spread across half an year uses a smartphone as its central symbol. This self-imposed limitation was a stimulating challenge as we found hundreds of ways to transform the device into a new object. â€‹â€‹

Changes Its Owner, But Not Its Temper 

(a special campaign for St. George's Day; lambs are one of the symbols of the holiday; this is a play on the idiom 'wolf in sheep's clothing' and the Bulgarian saying 'a wolf changes its fur but not its temper' (its English equivalent is 'The wolf may lose its teeth, but not its nature'); the copy is a reference to the fact that the phone is refurbished but it's software and hardware are intact)
